I am currently an Associate-PI with the Moorea Coral Reef Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) program in Moorea, French Polynesia. I collaborate with Craig Carlson and the LTER staff in overseeing the long term time series on water column chemistry, primary production of phytoplankton, and microbial abundance at six stations on the north shore including the fore reef, lagoon, fringing reef, Cooks Bay and offshore.  We are also involved in quantifying the availability of zooplankton to corals and fish and the role of horizontal particulate carbon fluxes as an input to reef systems.  Additional information about the Moorea Coral Reef LTER can be found at mcr.lternet.edu
